James and I took a trip to Disneyland Paris to celebrate my birthday. The good news is it was beautifully sunny, the bad news is it was absolutely freezing! Disney is a wonderful place to take photos though, the colours are amazing and it's all set up for you. The challenge is finding new things to take photos of the second time you go!

Sarah and I travelled to Washington DC in September 2008, she was working and I was touring as many tourist sights as possible. It's a very strange city, Sarah described it as Disneyland for museum geeks. I toured most of the museums, all the memorials on the Mall and also took trips out to the National Zoo and the beautiful Arlington.

Sam and I took the Eurostar to France for a couple of days at Disneyland Paris in January 2008. 3 Day whistle stop tour of Barcelona in April 2007. The weather was amazing and the city a sort of crazy beautiful. Travelling by myself I attempted to see as many sights as possible, so resisted the temptation to just sit on the beach all day. I've never been somewhere so influenced by just one person's architecture, with Gaudi's craziness visible throughout the city.
